Hallo,

habe gefunden das XBMC gerade an einer Implementierung in Android arbeitet.
SIEHE HIER

Wenn jetzt noch DVBLINK das ganze aufgreift, dann kann es evtl. kleine schnuckliche Android-Boxen mit XBMC und Zugriff auf TV und Aufnahmen geben.

Wie ich jetzt gesehen habe, ist einer der XBMC-Entwickler auch im DVBLINK-Forum sehr aktiv und stellt auch immer aktuelle Versionen zur Verfügung.

You need to install it the same way as stated above.

Please note that this version is a test version which means that this version will be a bit more shaky than previous versions.
Should you find a bug then please let me know and I will do my best to fix this in the upcoming version.

It would be great if anyone running a Raspberry Pi could test the transcoding and let me know if it works.
Also anyone with channel names that have strange characters are welcome to test the new version, the problem should now be gone...

Changelog:

- Improved errorhandling for DVBLink error, they are now presented in plain text.
- Some changes has been made to how channel names are handled this due to channels with special characters.
- You can now turn on/off subtitles when streaming a channel if subtitles are supported, a new setting is added.
- Added support for transcoding using the protocol RTSP and MPEG4 with AAC audio. A new section is added in settings.
- The DVBLink Client ID can now be changed through settings, this is usable when running several devices with the XBMC add-on in the same network.
- The value of the password is now masked in the settings dialog.
- Dutch translation has been updated (thanks to CrashingDutchman).

Das ist wirklich einfach nur genial.

Hardware dafür könnte es auch bereits geben. Einerseits das Nexus Q von Google (http://www.engadget....n-cm9-and-xbmc/) und andererseits die Ouya (http://www.engadget....arly-developer/).

Das wäre der Hammer wenn ich einfach so nen schnuckeligen Kasten auf meiner Media Wand stehen habe und mir das Ding von A-Z alles abspielt und ich ausserdem Fernsehen und aufnehmen könnte.
DAs wäre mein Traummediacenter.
Weiss nur nicht wieviel Gebastel damit zusammenhängt.

Anscheinend läuft dvblink schon auf der Android-Beta Version.

Na da werde ich mal die nächsten Tage testen.

So die ersten Test konnten erfolgreich abgeschlossen werden.

Das ganze ist schon recht flüssig auf Android.
Auch ist DSD (Entwickler) kräftig dabei das Add-On zu verfeinern.
Zielgruppe hier ist vor allen Dingen auch Rasperby.

Leider wird Live-TV bei mir nicht sauber dargestellt, dieses liegt aber bei mir.
Das Live-TV wird durch das Tool am TV-server erst konvertiert und dafür ist meine Dual-Core-Möre zu schwach (100% CPU).
Fazit: Für den TV-Server sollten es schon 4-Cores sein.

Würde mich freuen, wenn noch weitere hier das ganze mal testen und berichten.

Live TV funktioniert mit XBMC? Ich dachte immer das fehlt da noch.

Das ganze funktioniert in Zusammenhang mit DVBLINK.
Dazu wird ein Add-On installiert und dieses streamt dann den Inhalt.

Das Plug-in fuer die windows-xp gibt es von dvblogic schon länger.

Stabil laufen ist so eine Sache, da xbmc4andriod noch in der beta ist und das oben beschr. Add-in ebenfalls noch fleissig entwickelt wird.
Aber hier geht der Entwickler schnell auf Pro bis ein.
(Ein außer hat im sogar ein rasberby gehört zum testen)

Mal schauen was daraus wird.
Denke mal bis Weihnachten werden wir noch warten müssen.

I just follow this thread from the beginning and want to share some infos regarding xbmc and the pvr part.
The xbmc team is working to integrate pvr fully in xbmc but this is still in development. On the roadmap you find some rough infos about maybe it will be integrated in xbmc 12 or 13.
They are doing the development in the form that they have different branches next to the main xbmc development and when ready they will merge it into the main line.
I tried already the xbmc with pvr and it works good, and looks better than any tv receiver. only having problems with the switching time between channels. There is already integrated a lot that you will do also, and the skin is already improved for showing all the content like epg and so on...
What they do is they are using different backend solutions/software like fortherecord, tvheadend, mediaportal...which are very much the same like dvblink, and than communicate with an "add on/plugin" to this software for showing all that tv stuff in xbmc same way like they do with all other content!
This means they will not integrate that part of software which is doing all the channel and tv card stuff(backend).
This means also that dvblink would perfectly match as an additional backend and your plugin also..!

On the attached website you will have all infos and can get the xbmc pvr, which is compiled from a guy called margro from the pvr branch with all available plugins already integrated!
He is also doing development in the pvr branch and the addons for the mediaportal and fortherecord...you will find him in the xbmc forums a lot!
